Shinge Roshi leads us in this special weekend sesshin commemorating the founding of our temple 55 years ago.

New York Zendo Shoboji is one of the first Rinzai Zen practice centers to be established in the United States and continues to offer authentic Rinzai Zen training amid the bustle of daily life in Manhattan.

The sesshin will include zazen, chanting, teisho and dokusan. Formal meals using jihatsu (nested bowls) will be served. This sesshin will also be offered online.
