At 9 a.m., morning service will be followed by zazen and temple caretaking. If you are staying for Dharma Study, please bring your own vegetarian lunch.

At 1 p.m. Shinge Roshi will lead Dharma Study in the Forman House and on Zoom. We are reading The Surangama Sutra, the 2009 edition by Buddhist Text Translation Society, with excerpts from the Commentary by Ven. Hsuan Hua. A few copies are available for in-person attendees for $30 in the Dharma hall, cash and checks only, please. Online attendees may purchase the hardcover book from the Buddhist Text Translation Society's website. A Kindle edition is available, as well as a free, downloadable PDF file of the entire text. All are welcome and no prior reading is necessary.
