Mandala Day, Dokusan, Potluck Lunch, Dharma Study

March 23 at 9 a.m., in lieu of morning service, we will celebrate Mandala Day, followed by zazen when Roshi will offer in-person dokusan. Please bring a KN-95 mask for dokusan.
Following a short temple caretaking period, at noon, we’ll gather in the Forman House for a potluck lunch to celebrate Mandala Day. If you bring food, be sure it is vegetarian and labeled if it contains gluten or dairy.
At 1 p.m. Shinge Roshi will lead Dharma Study in the Forman House and on Zoom. We are reading The Surangama Sutra, the 2009 edition by the Buddhist Text Translation Society, with excerpts from the Commentary by Ven. Hsuan Hua. All are welcome and no prior reading is necessary.
