Buddha's Birthday Celebration
Related topics:
All are invited to morning service at 9 a.m., followed by walking meditation and zazen. Afterwards we'll gather in the Forman House Dharma Hall for the ceremony, starting at 11:15. Children are welcome. We'll hear the story of Shakyamuni Buddha's birth, and we'll take turns bathing the Baby Buddha figure with sweet tea, singing a special verse. Then we'll enjoy a potluck lunch and birthday cake.
