At 9 a.m., in lieu of morning service, a 49-day memorial service for Kentoku Joe O’Brien will be held. Then, after one period of sitting, Shinge Roshi will give a teisho about her trip to Japan, followed by temple caretaking.

Kentoku was a resident at ZCS for 16 years until 2023. See Shinge Roshi’s letter to the sangha announcing his death on April 11 here. His obituary can be viewed here.
