At 1 p.m. we will have Dharma Study discussion in the Forman House and on Zoom. We will read and discuss a passage from Part III of The Platform Sutra: The Zen Teaching of Hui-Neng, translated by Red Pine. All are welcome, and no prior reading is necessary. Copies of the book are available for purchase in the Dharma Hall. Photocopies of this month’s section are provided for those who don’t have their own books or you can download them here.

When we have finished reading The Platform Sutra in a few months, the next text to be discussed will be the Surangama Sutra, the new translation by Buddhist Text Translation Society, 2017 edition with excerpts from Commentary by Ven. Hsuan Hua. We will arrange for some copies to be available for purchase in the Dharma hall.
