Zoom Sitting Schedule in 2022

Starting in 2022, our Sunday Threefold Sangha format will change.  Dharma talks with discussion will occur once a month, on the Sunday closest to Mandala Day (which is the 21st of every month).  We’ll start with zazen at 11 a.m. as usual, followed at 11:20 by the Mandala Day ceremony. The talk will begin around 11:30, with discussion following.

On all other Sundays, starting at 10 a.m., live choka (morning service) and two periods of zazen will be offered by the residents and officers at the Zen Center of Syracuse Hoen-ji via Zoom. The link will be the same as our current one for the Sunday Threefold Sangha meeting.

In January and February, the Sundays closest to Mandala Day occur during Hoen-ji Winter Sesshin (January) and the Parinirvana all-day sitting (February), so will follow the schedule for those events; please sign up for full or part-time participation.

Also, the Wednesday noon sitting will not be offered after December 29.
