Shinge Sherry Chayat Roshi, abbot of the Zen Center of Syracuse, will offer Deep Presence as an online course via Zoom.  Deep Presence is a five-week course in the cultivation of inner stillness and clear insight.

Shinge Roshi will teach simple meditation techniques, including breath, posture, and basic principles of awareness.

Afterwards, our group discussion will focus on breaking free of old patterns so that we can respond with wisdom and compassion no matter how difficult the circumstances of our lives. The course is designed for new meditators as well as for those with more experience who wish to renew the strength of their practice.

The course is offered Tuesday evenings 7-8:30 p.m. EST from February 1, 2022 to March 1, 2022.

We want to make these offerings available to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. If you cannot afford the suggested amount, then contribute what you can. If you can afford more, please consider giving at a higher level to help others. Thank you!
