At 6 p.m., our usual Thursday evening sitting will begin with a Parinirvana Day Ceremony. Parinirvana commemorates the death of the historical Buddha and his entry into final or complete Nirvana. This short ceremony will be followed by zazen (meditation). Newcomers are always welcome. Please note we ask all participants to wear a mask in the zendo during chanting. Read more »
This Thursday's sitting will include a celebration of Buddha's Parinirvana, taking leave of this world. Special chanting will begin at 6:00pm, followed by zazen. Please bring white socks or tabi.
