"Meditate and Destroy" with Noah Levine

Noah, the son of a well-known Buddhist teacher, rebelled against his upbringing and became an anger filled, drugged out punk rocker in his youth.  He was arrested several times for destruction of property, possession of illegal substances, and armed robbery.  Faced with possibility of doing serious jail time, Noah gave in and decided it was time to try meditation.

Since beginning his meditation practice, Noah has turned his life completely around.  He is now a straight edge (not doing drugs of any sort) Buddhist practitioner and teacher.  He received a master’s degree in counseling psychology and now leads several meditation groups throughout the USA in meditation halls, prisons, and juvenile halls. Noah is the author of Dharma Punx and Against the Stream.  For more on Noah Levine, see http://www.dharmapunx.com

Levine will talk about his own path and how the Dharma has transformed his life, and about this practice as real rebellion -- against greed, hatred and delusion.
